Feb 22, 2016 But I would like to have USB 3 ports. I now have only USB 2 ports I had a look on the internet for an USB 3 Expresscard with 2 or 3 ports I am aware that they need an external powersupply, but they only come with drivers for Windows 8 or lower Is anyone aware of an USB 3 card with windows 10 drivers or tried windows 8 drivers on windows 10. The problem was with the Windows 10, 7, Windows 8 and 8.1 FireWire driver (a.k.a. The 1394 Driver) and the fix was a simple one. For Windows 7, just use the Legacy driver. Just follow the instructions below. If you are on Windows 10, or 8 or 8.1 you will need to download the Legacy driver from Microsoft. Win 10 drivers x64.
If you are blocked by an app you don’t appear to have installed, it is likely that the compatibility checker is detecting a file associated with the app, rather than the app itself. You will need to delete the file it is detecting before you can install the upgrade. You can determine which file is triggering the block by examining a hidden log file. To do this, follow these steps:
Open File explorer and click the View tab. Make sure the check box for Hidden items is selected.
Select This PC, and then in the search box, search for a file named {Symbols)_APPRAISER_HumanReadable.xml.
Right click the file and open with Notepad.
Press CTRL + F and search for DT_ANY_FMC_BlockingApplication. Look for the value, it should be True.
Press CTRL + F and search for LowerCaseLongPathUnexpanded. The value contains the file path of the program that should be removed or transferred to another drive. (It should be located approximately 28 lines under the DT_ANY_FMC_BlockingApplication).
Make note of the file path listed in the value for LowerCaseLongPathUnexpanded. You can select the file path and copy it to the Notepad by pressing CTRL + C.
Navigate to the file path’s location in File Explorer. (Click in File Explorer’s address bar and press CTRL + V to paste the file path you copied earlier.)
Once you’ve located the blocking.exe file, transfer the file to another drive or Delete the file.
Once the blocking file is moved or deleted, try installing the Windows 10 upgrade again, or return to the Windows 10 Upgrade Assistant and select the Refresh button.

Uninstall Mcafee Without Password
Or, you can uninstall McAfee Endpoint Security Firewall from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel. On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following. Mcafee has been installed together with Dell Data Protection suite. I managed to get rid of the dell bloatware, but Mcafee protects itself from being removed. How to remove mcafee endpoint security? I already tried: MVSUninst. Program doesn't appear in Windows program uninstall list. I can only find it back in my folders.
